Drawing/painting on a computer is an interesting process that is all about the touch and gesture of the hand. The computer will respond in a prescribed way laying down the marks exactly the same way every time, it is the subtle touch and direction of the hand that gives variety to the markings made.
These abstract images are reminiscent of Japanese Sumi-e paintings, a technique of ink and wash gestures creating harmonies of simple lines and open space.
